Oncomatryx Showcases Quantum Computing-Powered ADC Platform at BIO International Convention 2026

The biopharmaceutical company strengthens its position as a European leader in the tumor microenvironment space in San Diego, as part of the European Innovation Council delegation

SAN DIEGO, 15th July 2026 – Oncomatryx Biopharma, the leading biopharmaceutical company developing antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting the tumor microenvironment, took part in the 2026 BIO International Convention as part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) delegation at the EIC Pavilion, where it presented its quantum computing-powered ADC platform.

Oncomatryx’s presence at the world’s largest biotechnology conference comes amid growing international interest in the role of the tumor microenvironment in treating solid tumors that have so far proven difficult to address.

At the conference, the company made the case for the tumor microenvironment -and cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in particular- as a pioneering therapeutic route against metastatic tumors long considered incurable, in contrast to approaches that target the tumor cell alone. Building on that thesis, Oncomatryx detailed how its next-generation ADC platform, which already leverages AI, is now incorporating quantum computing, positioning the company among the world’s most technologically integrated ADC platforms, spanning discovery through clinical development.

Oncomatryx took part in a thematic panel on the future of cancer care, examining how platform technologies -including ADCs, next-generation radiopharmaceuticals, neoantigen therapies and companion diagnostics- are enabling more targeted, personalized treatment pathways in precision oncology. The panel was moderated by Stephanie Oestreich, Managing Director of the Myeloma Investment Fund, and also featured fellow EIC-backed companies Neogap and Tetrakit, alongside Fundació Món Clínic Barcelona, part of the Spanish delegation.

The company’s technology draws on more than fifteen years of proprietary research into cancer-associated fibroblasts and other tumor microenvironment targets, paired with an ADC design approach that balances specificity and potency through configurable linkers. Over the past two years, Oncomatryx has incorporated generative artificial intelligence and quantum computing -working with Multiverse Computing and an IBM Quantum System Two- to optimize ADC clinical candidate design and selection.
